The Auto-Gain feature on ShowBox automatically sets an optimal input gain level based on your signal.
Select the channel you want to adjust.
Press and hold the Volume/Gain knob for 2 seconds.
ShowBox will enter Auto-Gain mode and begin listening for 10 seconds.
During this time, play or sing at your loudest expected level, keeping your volume as consistent as possible.
When the process is complete, the calculated gain level will be briefly displayed on the knob’s LED ring.
The LED ring will then return to displaying the currently selected parameter.
Tips for Best Results
Perform Auto-Gain in a quiet environment to avoid background noise affecting the measurement.
Use the loudest signal you expect during normal use to prevent distortion later.
Repeat the process if you change instruments, microphones, or performers.
