How Do I Pair or Link My ThumpV4, ThumpXT, Thump GO, or Thrash212 GO Speaker with Bluetooth?

Bluetooth Pairing Guide

Follow these steps to pair your phone, tablet, or computer:

1. Turn on the speaker.

2. Press and hold the Pair button until the LED blinks (about 5 seconds)

3. On your device, open your Bluetooth Settings.

4. Select your speaker (ex: ThumpV4, Thump215XT, Thump GO, etc.).

5. Once connected, the LED will stop blinking.

6. Open the Thump Connect 2 app if you want remote control.

Notes

• If pairing fails, clear the Bluetooth list on your device and retry.

• Only one device can be paired to a speaker at a time. Do not try to pair two identical speakers to your device. Instead, follow the Bluetooth linking guide below!

Bluetooth Linking Guide

Use this to play the same Bluetooth audio on two ThumpXT speakers.

1. Pair your phone/tablet to Speaker A (see pairing guide above).

2. Press and hold the Link button until the LED blinks (about 5 seconds)

3. Within 30 seconds, perform a quick tap of the Link button on Speaker B.

4. Open the Thump Connect 2 app and select the Advanced tab to:

   1. Choose your mode:

      • Stereo – Each speaker plays either the left or right channel

      • Zone – Both speakers play in mono

   2. Configure Auto-Connect and Auto-Link settings:

      • Auto-Connect – Upon boot-up, the primary speaker connects to the paired device

      • Auto-Link – Upon boot-up, the primary speaker connects to the secondary speaker

Notes

• Wireless linking only works between two speakers.

• Thump speakers may only link to like Thump speakers (Thump215XT + Thump212XT or Thump GO + Thump GO). You cannot mix-and-match different Mackie speaker product lines via Bluetooth.
