No. Modern mobile devices using 4G, LTE, or 5G networks transmit data efficiently without interfering with audio signals in the DL Series mixer and other audio equipment. However, in areas with poor coverage, devices may revert to GSM, which can cause TDMA noise—low-level digital beeps in your audio. This interference can affect all audio gear if the source is close enough, depending on their design. The DL Series is built to minimize this noise, but interference can still occur under certain conditions.
If you notice this noise, turn off cellular data during your show. Typically, in urban areas, devices will maintain strong 4G, LTE, or 5G signals, preventing this issue.
