How Do I Configure My Computer to Send Audio to My ProFXv3 Mixer's USB 3-4 Return?

Windows

1. Open your system sound settings:

   • Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar.

   • Select Sound settings.

2. Set the default output device:

   • Under Output, select ProFX 3-4 as your default sound device.

3. Assign the return to a channel:

   • On the mixer, engage the USB 3-4 button on the last channel to route the computer audio to the channel strip.

Your computer audio will now be sent to the 3-4 return as a standard channel.

macOS

1. Open Audio MIDI Setup:

   • Press Cmd + Spacebar to open Spotlight Search.

   • Search for and open Audio MIDI Setup.

2. Configure speaker outputs:

   • Select the ProFX device under the Output tab.

   • Click Configure Speakers.

   • Set the Left output to 3 and the Right output to 4.

3. Assign the return to a channel:

   • On the mixer, engage the USB 3-4 button on the last channel to route the computer audio to the channel strip.

Your computer audio will now be sent to the 3-4 return as a standard channel.
